About the Role - We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support our logistics, inventory, and equipment handling operations. The role involves organizing stock, testing telecom equipment (QC), managing shipments, and maintaining accurate system data. Candidates must ensure compliance with safety regulations and contribute to process improvements. Flexibility to perform additional tasks assigned by management is essential. Responsibilities Coordinate the unloading of containers in the designated receiving area. Label all received items accurately, taking into account their origin, and create a detailed tally list. Classify materials into categories for resale (trading) and scrap (production), and store them accordingly in both the system and physical warehouse. Prepare tally list reports in the indicated format and submit them as required. Physically store and manage all materials and telecom equipment designated for resale, ensuring layout efficiency and space optimization. Handle all warehouse shipments, including picking, packing, loading, and moving products to support order fulfillment. Prepare products for shipment by verifying location, directing them to the staging area, and ensuring packaging compliance with required standards. Manage the receipt, tracking, and distribution of all shipments, maintaining IT system data with 100% accuracy, and generating monthly reports. Supervise and lead staff assigned to the trading area, including preparing, breaking, packing, and reporting trading orders. Perform periodic inventory checks and reconcile data with the stock control system to minimize risks and discrepancies. Oversee packaging material control and ensure adherence to all Colombian warehousing, handling, and shipping regulations, as well as company safety and hygiene standards. Conduct Quality Control (QC) by testing telecom equipment using the necessary tools before packing and accurately reporting the results. Document all warehouse activities by completing forms, reports, logs, and maintaining organized records and databases. Monitor operational efficiency and suggest improvements to minimize unnecessary costs, delays, and service interruptions, while ensuring compliance with delivery timelines and SOPs. Perform any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned by management, including acting as a liaison for the Operations Manager in cases of delays, scope changes, or customer-impacting issues.
