We are looking for an experienced DBA/Data Engineer to work remotely from anywhere in Latin America. You will be working in an agile environment with an awesome team on the implementation of world-class software products. **Responsibilities** - Design, and develop data-products, with adjoining data-pipelines, engineered to high standards of performance, efficiency, and reliability. - Generate and implement Machine-Learning algorithms. - Formulate data-management strategy and data-warehouse architecture to provide single source-of-truth datasets for internal and external clients. - Collaborate with Product, Analytics and Data Science to gather requirements for, and to build, new data-products. - Mentor data engineers to provide technical guidance. **Requirements**: - 3+ years of relevant experience - Strong experience in building ETL/Data-pipelines - Experience with distributed databases and modern streaming platforms - Production Continuous-Integration experience with Jenkins, and building with Maven / Ant / SBT - Proficiency in using SAP D1 and working with 3 or more databases - Expertise in SQL (Ohana SQL preferred), database management systems - Familiarity with C# for automation - You take pride in your work and are self-driven - Very detail-oriented - Part-time availability - Excellent communication skills **Nice to have** - Fluent in English - Knowledgeable in Logi Analytics BI tool - Ability to create new reports with filters, graphs, etc using the Logi Info tool and platform - Knowledgeable in Apache NIFI - Experience working in agile environments **Benefits** A fixed-term contract.
