The role of a Network Engineer involves performing a wide range of duties, including some or all of the following: - Providing level 1 and level 2 support for technical issues related to NICE products. - Utilizing knowledge of NICE solutions, including NTR and NTR-X. - Collaborating with clients' system engineers to support the NICE infrastructure across their global organization. - Deploying NICE products for customers. - Capturing records of cases and performing remediation based on case severity. - Coordinating efforts with suppliers and other representatives as needed. - Assisting clients' administrators with configuration, administration, and management of users in the NICE system. - Providing basic application training and support to clients' engineers on NICE applications. - Maintaining NICE system specifications (site documentation) across all sites. - Conducting proactive health checks on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. - Supporting NICE projects, installations, and change management as required to maintain environment and infrastructure. - Performing maintenance on NICE systems across all sites as required. Key Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must have a minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in: - Excellent communication skills. - Availability to work a 24x7 operational support model with 5 days of working time, including weekend shifts. - Troubleshooting and log analysis of Windows operating systems is an advantage. - Experience working in medium or large teams, with strong teamwork skills. - High customer service orientation. - Ability to represent the company effectively in front of customers. - Strong sense of self-responsibility and accountability. - Flexibility to work around the clock as needed. - Collaborative attitude and shared knowledge and experience. - Ability to adapt well to changing environments. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. - Experience working with voice and data networks in design, implementation, or project management. - Microsoft operating systems, networking, MySQL/SQL, security, and VoIP technology. - Database knowledge and script writing/modifying skills are expected. - Telephony experience and certifications, particularly in VoIP and CTI. - Experience with common PBX, switch, and ACD vendors, such as Avaya and Cisco. - Certifications in HP, MCSE, and MCP are advantageous.
