One of the beautiful districts of Manisa, Sarıgöl, turned into a festival area with the 16th Sultani Grape Festival this year. The festival was a colorful scene for 4 days with processions, folk dance shows, various competitions and concerts. Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek, his wife Nurcan Zeyrek, CHP Provincial Chairman İlksen Özalper, Sarıgöl District Governor Halil Dalak, Sarıgöl Mayor Tahsin Akdeniz, Salihli Mayor Mazlum Nurlu, Turgutlu Mayor Çetin Akın, Ahmetli Mayor Fuat Mintaş and many council members were present at the closing ceremony. President Ferdi Zeyrek, who visited the stands set up within the scope of the festival, also visited the Ethnography Exhibition organized by the Sarıgöl Cultural and Natural Heritage Protection Association. He also met with the party organization at the CHP District Headquarters and exchanged views on the importance of the festival. SAKI TOOK THE STAGE AT THE FESTIVAL The famous Sakiler group, which took the stage on the last day of the festival, provided an unforgettable night for the people of Sarıgöl. Mayor Zeyrek, his wife Nurcan Zeyrek, CHP Provincial Chairman İlksen Özalper and Sarıgöl Mayor Tahsin Akdeniz presented the Sakiler group with flowers and special gifts and thanked the artists. Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek, who stated that the concerts throughout Manisa province started with August 30 Victory Day, said, “There has been a festival atmosphere all around Manisa for the last 15 days.
