What you will do: The Manager Procurement, NPD Direct Materials for Beauty will focus on driving strategic sourcing initiatives for New Product Development (NPD) projects, especially in conjunction with External Manufacturers, ensuring optimal supplier alignment with our innovation pipeline and business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions. Experience in accelerated product delivery is a PLUS. Key Responsibilities Lead procurement for NPD Turnkey projects and global direct materials NPD responsibilities under the guidance of the Sr. Manager Procurement – NPD & SRM, ensuring alignment with business strategy. Negotiate provisions, pricing, delivery, and product specifics with direct materials suppliers for top initiatives. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement. Contribute to purchasing policies, procedures, and performance standards to ensure compliance with departmental policies and quality specifications. Partner with category procurement to approve supplier selection and influence sourcing decisions early. Establish and maintain effective communication with vendors to ensure product, service, and quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize procurement processes. Qualifications What we are looking for: Required Qualifications Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in procurement or a related field. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. Proven track record of driving cost savings and improving supplier performance. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, procedures, and performance standards. Ability to analyze market trends, should-cost models, and pricing to make informed decisions. Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation. Strong leadership and decision-making skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Experience working at an FMCG company within product development or innovation Desired Qualifications 5+ years of experience in procurement, focusing on NPD & R&D procurement. Advanced skills in procurement processes and procedures. Experience in driving innovation and implementing new procurement strategies. Experience managing global procurement operations. Proven ability to develop and maintain strong supplier relationships. Experience managing procurement budgets and forecasting needs. Ability to identify and mitigate procurement risks.
