Job Overview This role involves international travel several times a year, usually for one week and requires the ability to be productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation. - Key Responsibilities: - Analyze, fix, and test vulnerabilities in software packages - Keep track of vulnerabilities as they are discovered, researched, and fixed - Collaborate with other teams to exchange or develop patches and ensure inclusion of best security features - Audit source code for vulnerabilities The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of common categories of security vulnerabilities and techniques for fixing them. They should be familiar with coordinated disclosure practices and open source development tools and methodologies. The ideal candidate will be skilled in at least one programming language: C, Python, Go, Rust, Java, Ruby, or PHP.
