Join us today and experience Life at Visa.Job DescriptionThe Associate Systems Administrator will provide Systems Administration to core Corporate IT Server Platforms, Network and Applications. They will also support the development and incorporation of best practices and approaches into the company´s processes and methodologies and participate in determination of root cause/solution analysis for service failure and support escalation.The incumbent will be expected to operate in complex, highly secure, and highly available, operations environments and interact with the technology domain experts required to maintain those environments and should demonstrate a commitment to customer service, pro-active review of processes and procedures to continually enhance service quality, service delivery and support.Essential Functions:Perform a system/server security remediation and ensure that the system and application are on up to date patch levels and conform to the security standard.The candidate will be heavily involved in ensuring the team meets all SLA's and team objectives.Must have a strong commitment to execution, follow through and timely communication.Execute decisive action to preserve and maintain service availability, performance, integrity, capacity and security.Monitor incident queues, troubleshoot issues and lead conference calls with other groups to mitigate impacts.Collaborate with Engineering teams across various platforms (Windows, UNIX/Linux, Network, Storage, Database and Middleware) to translate application requirements into system requirements.Good problem-solving skills with focus on troubleshooting issues in complex production environmentsWilling to learn new technologies and software, thinking out of the box, questioning the norm and innovative.Will be expected to work on-call rotation.Proficient in using tools for system and network monitoringGood written and verbal communication skills.Able to multitask and make decisions based on technical knowledge.Experience working with offshore and globally distributed teams.This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.QualificationsBasic Qualifications6+ months of relevant work experiencePreferred Qualifications2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)Minimum CCNP or similar vendor certification requiredExperience and In-depth knowledge with Network and Windows system administration activitiesExperience Installing, configuring, and patching Windows Server operating systems on physical and virtual servers.Implementing and maintaining system security policiesPerforming backups and disaster recovery proceduresAdvanced understanding of Cisco routing and switchingExpert level knowledge of switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, LACP, Spanning Tree)Advanced level knowledge of Cisco VPN networking (Firepower, ASA, IPSEC)Broad knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, WAN, LAN and WLC based wireless networkingWorking knowledge of SASE solutionsWorking knowledge of Arista switchingKnowledge of SD-WAN technologies, ideally Silver Peak.Working knowledge of Cloud, Azure and Hybrid computingKnowledge automation tools, ideally SolarWinds and Catalyst Center.Experience creating low-level network design documentation including detailed Visio diagrams.Additional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
