Position Summary The B200 Pilot-in-Command position is responsible for the safe execution of ISR flights within the USSOUTHCOM AOR, following GFR approved Flight and Operations Procedures, host nation rules, and Federal Aviation Regulations. Responsibilities include safe and efficient operation of the aircraft in all weather conditions, day and night, and all mission preparations such as preflight, flight planning, performance planning, weight and balance, fuel planning, and post-flight duties. Additional duties may be assigned by your supervisor. The USSOUTHCOM flight environment is often austere and challenging, requiring experienced, mature, and professional ISR pilots. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Perform duties as Pilot-in-Command in instrument, day/night conditions to maximize sensor operator station time and sensor efficiency. - Conduct all flight planning, performance planning, weight and balance, and fuel planning. - Maintain software updates related to flight, performance, and weight and balance. - Coordinate outstation refueling operations and related flight planning. - Handle international flight coordination, including permissions and diplomatic clearances. - Other duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum Requirements Knowledge and Skills - FAA Commercial MEL/inst. - 3,000 hours total flight time. - 2,000 hours multi-engine fixed wing flight. - B200 type rating (may be obtained during initial training). - Commercial license: multi-engine, fixed wing, land. - Annual FAA-approved recurrent training. Experience - At least 5 years of ISR experience. Education - HS diploma or GED. Desired Skills and Qualifications - FAA ATP MEL. - 1,000 hours in aircraft category. - Top Secret security clearance. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience. - Multiple ISR mission tours or assignments. - Pilot experience with USSOUTHCOM CAOC. Other Qualifications - DoD Secret Security Clearance. Travel Travel on a rotational basis, potentially to austere conditions, as directed by the Program Manager.
