**Tax Accountant**: Cota, Cundinamarca, Colombia - Colombia **Tax Accountant** Finance | Tax **About Schlumberger** **About the role** The Tax Accountant is responsible for the accounting process related to statutory regulations in the country of operation. **Responsibilities** - Review balance sheet account; reconcile and prepare associated balance sheet notes. - Analyze profit and loss variances and review detailed revenue and cost transactions. - Provide subsystem control of statutory and fiscal values including fixed asset fiscal values. - Control and prepare legal entity general ledger entries including prepayments, accruals and allocations. - Reconcile and control differences between fiscal and management accounting practices. - Review customs, value added tax and excise tax compliance. - Prepare statutory and fiscal accounts. - With Tax, coordinate the preparation of income tax returns. **Experience & Exposures** Tax Experience in firms is prefered **Requirements**: Mid to advanced Excel Level Intermediate english level Accounting degree **Schlumberger as an employer** As a leading employer in our industry, Schlumberger is proud to offer a highly competitive package of base and incentive compensation as well as a comprehensive benefits program designed to support the health, wellness and financial security of our employees and their families.
