Job Title: RN Staff 3DWE Department: 3W Medical Unit Location: Maury Regional Medical Center Schedule: Friday - Sunday Day Shift 7a - 7p Job Requirements: Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse in Tennessee Required 2 Years Med-Surg Nursing Experience for Float Pool Positions Required 1 Year Nursing Experience for PRN Positions Required 1 Year Nursing Experience for FT Positions Preferred Job Summary: Responsible for planning, directing, providing, and evaluating nursing care for patients using critical thinking, judgment, and leadership skills. Performs nursing duties including charting, medication administration, use of equipment, etc. About Our Unit: At Maury Regional Medical Center (MRMC), the 3 rd West unit is a 52-bed department serving diverse patient populations, including medical-surgical, oncology, and pediatric patients. Nurses have opportunities for skill advancement through training in pediatric care and chemotherapy certification. The unit operates with two charge nurses per shift to support smooth patient care. Our goal is to maintain a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, fostering a collaborative team approach involving LPNs and reliable diagnostic information to guide patient care and improve cardiovascular health.
