Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Engineer to join our team in Wilmington, MA. As an Applications Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of additive manufacturing solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with our process, materials and application engineers to design, test, and manufacture metal components using our proprietary Area Printing process. You will also be responsible for characterizing printed parts using inspection equipment, resolving design-related issues, developing post-processing workflows, generating and finalizing part designs, and integrating design processes into product development workflows. Additionally, you will stay up-to-date with advancements in metal 3D printing technologies, materials, and design methodologies, and evaluate new tools and techniques to improve processes and outcomes. - The ideal candidate should have a strong background in additive manufacturing, with expertise in design for additive manufacturing (DFAM), various post-processing techniques specifically for AM, and analytical characterization of printed parts.
