**BI Data Analyst** **Medellin.** **Monday to Friday** **PERMANENT POSITION** **$6M to $9M per month (depending on experience)** **DESCRIPTION**: **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**: **Essential Functions**: - Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). - Debug and analyze data to identify relevant problems, trends, and patterns. - Optimize the queries, stored procedures, and functions developed in the current databases to improve performance and efficiency. - Generate reports and data visualizations. - Generate documentation of the developments carried out. - Implement automated database integration processes. - Support and promptly attend to assigned requirements. - Create solutions that strengthen current processes. - Guarantee the quality and integration of the data. **Responsibilities** - Optimization of queries in databases. - Creation and improvements of integration processes. - Ensure the quality of the deliverables. - Understand the needs of stakeholders. **REQUIREMENTS**: **Requirements**: - Bilingual, with a high level of competence in English and Spanish. - Experience in the health insurance and/or travel industry. - Excellent oral and written communication skills to discuss with stakeholders problems, needs and propose solutions. - Proactive in proposing creative solutions to problems presented. - Agility to solve problems and develop solutions. - Ability to work in teams. - Ability to work on several projects at the same time. - Strong organizational and attention to detail skills. - Skilled with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. **NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE** - Broad knowledge and experience in SQL, including the ability to write complex queries and optimize query performance.
