**Key Responsibilities**: **Strategic Sourcing** - Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and stay informed about industry trends. - Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to secure high-quality goods and services at the best possible cost. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align procurement strategies with organizational goals. - Ensure compliance to company guidelines and procurement policy during negotiation and award process. **Supplier Management** - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers. - Evaluate supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. - Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions to achieve favorable agreements while minimizing risk. **Cost Management** - Drive cost reduction initiatives through negotiations, process improvements, and value engineering. - Analyze total cost of ownership and implement strategies to optimize cost efficiency throughout the supply chain. - Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities. **Cross-Functional Collaboration** - Collaborate with various departments, including operations, finance, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with overall business objectives. - Participate in cross-functional teams for new product launches, providing expertise on procurement-related matters. **Qualifications**: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with a proven track record of successful negotiations and cost savings.
