The AutoCAD Detailer is responsible for using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software to produce detailed drawings and will develop thorough plans that include drawings, blueprints, and other design documents to support DYWIDAG’s team and initiatives. The professional must speak English fluently, as they will be supporting our US unit. Essential functions Prepare AutoCAD Product Shop Drawings fulfilling Company quality standards and project requirements. Create 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings from internal submittal drawings. Prepare autonomously AutoCAD Drawings, Engineering, and Shop drawings of the Company Geotechnical Unit like soil anchors, bolts, plates and retaining walls systems and others, considering the main aspects of the projects required by clients. Prepare the design changes required for the drawings. Implement a convenient filing system for the drawing files. Required Education and experience A minimum of 4 years of 2D and 1 year of 3D Detailing for Construction, Steel or Mechanical industry experience required. Solid Works, 3-D, or Revit experience a bonus. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, site plans, and elevations. Ability to read civil, structural, and architectural drawings. Ability to handle a large volume of ongoing projects and orders. Fluency in English.
