Our developers design, build, and release software productsin multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. Theycollaborate with cross-functional project teams, are adaptableproblem-solvers, and have a client-oriented mindset. A DevelopmentConsultant understands the technical landscape of IT projects,comprehends the business context and goals, and uses theirexperience to develop optimal solutions, including technology anddesign choices. They support the project manager in planningsoftware delivery, communicate the vision to both technical andnon-technical stakeholders, and work directly with customers todefine solutions. Responsibilities: - Lead a cross-functional teamof Frontend, Backend/API, and Quality Assurance engineers to meetobjectives and milestones; - Participate actively in the fullsoftware development lifecycle from ideation and planning throughdevelopment, testing, customer feedback, and iterations; - Driveimprovements across the entire tech stack; - Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Data Scientists to expose data viaweb applications; - Build and maintain our backend tech stack of Python, Airflow, PostgreSQL, Kafka; - Provide architectural anddesign guidance, control technical debt, and promote collaborationwithin the product team; - Work closely with other EngineeringManagers on cross-team topics such as continuous deployment,testing, monitoring, and user logging. Qualifications - 10+ yearsof software development experience, including at least 4 years inleadership roles; - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computerscience or related field; - Strong agile mindset, capable of rapiditeration and early feedback; - Excellent leadership,decision-making, and communication skills in English; - Deepknowledge of Python (3.5+); - Knowledge of modern front-endtechnologies and web fundamentals; - Experience developing publicAPIs with OpenAPI specifications and service-level contracts; -Experience with map and location libraries (e.g., Mapbox); -Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing team members; - Deepunderstanding of testing at all levels, from unit to end-to-end.
