Assistant Manager - C-Store (Knox Abbot) The Assistant Store Manager is an entry-level management position responsible for day-to-day supervision of non-management associates, assigning work, focusing on store operation performance, coaching, and developing subordinate Shift Supervisors and other associates. This role provides an opportunity for entry-level managers to learn management skills and exercise judgment and discretion. It is a non-exempt position reporting to the General Store Manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Supervise daily activities of multiple associates. - Assign work tasks and activities. - Prepare daily orders, maintain inventory levels, and ensure stock accuracy following policies set by the Asset Protection Team. - Conduct on-the-job training for associates to ensure they acquire necessary skills. - Ensure compliance with brand standards and health, safety, and sanitation regulations. - Use judgment to resolve routine issues and escalate complex problems. - Support and coach team members to achieve business goals. - Provide ongoing feedback aligned with individual and business development goals. ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: - Up to 1 year of experience in low-volume Food and Beverage or Merchandise operations, or related supervisory or entry-level management experience. - Strong team management, delegation, and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of Applegreen’s policies, products, and operational standards. - Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Minimum age of 18 years. - High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. - Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams). - Ability to read, understand, and communicate instructions and policies effectively. #J-18808-Ljbffr
