Entry Level Position with Training Provided This role is responsible for various types of Network Construction, including Aerial, Underground, and MDU. The position supports the Construction organization in daily tasks and emphasizes customer experience enhancement. Move, secure, load/unload cable equipment, tools, or other materials as directed. Dig holes, trenches, and fill or restore them; bury conduit and cables. Pull lasher, strand, and cable from pole to pole. Perform traffic control and flagging as necessary. Adhere to industry-specific regulations and company procedures. Follow safety standards and operate/maintain crew vehicles. Understand and support strand routing, design maps, and construction materials. Maintain cleanliness of work premises. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Ability to differentiate wire sizes and colors; visual acuity requirements. Safe operation of assigned equipment, lifting up to 75 pounds, climbing poles, working in confined spaces, and outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with computer systems and documentation. Required Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory record. Experience Entry level; training provided, no prior experience necessary. Preferred Skills/Abilities Ability to obtain necessary licenses, knowledge of basic mathematics and electronic testing equipment, CDL license or ability to obtain one, and proficiency with computer applications.
