Key Responsibilities Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for the EntryReady product line to ensure high-quality releases. Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities across multiple projects, balancing timelines and resource availability. Design, develop, and execute robust automated testing scripts using third-party and open-source tools to ensure efficient test coverage. Conduct thorough regression testing for resolved bugs and updated features to maintain product stability and performance. Testing Processes and Innovation Define and implement scalable testing processes for new and existing software products, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new testing tools, frameworks, and strategies to continuously improve testing efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and refine process best practices, increasing test automation coverage and overall reliability. Monitor and analyze debugging process results to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Collaboration and Issue Management Partner closely with Engineers, Product Managers, and Customer Support to test new features, validate functionality, and maintain robust regression suites. Identify, document, and track software bugs, usability issues, and potential performance bottlenecks using established tracking tools and workflows. Participate in escalated customer support cases as a Subject Matter Expert, providing insights and solutions for critical issues. Assist the Development Team with detailed bug analysis, resolution, and validation of new feature implementations. Knowledge Management and Support Maintain and manage the Known Error Database (KED), ensuring it is up-to-date with relevant information for troubleshooting and support. Contribute to the Product Knowledgebase by creating and updating detailed documentation for installation, configuration, and support procedures. Participate in the on-call rotation to address and escalate Priority 1 (P1) issues, ensuring minimal disruption to customers and rapid resolution. Rapidly evaluate new testing methodologies and emerging technologies to ensure EntryReady software remains at the forefront of quality assurance practices. Actively participate in team retrospectives, providing feedback to improve testing processes and workflows. Foster a collaborative culture that emphasizes knowledge sharing, innovation, and a commitment to delivering exceptional software quality. Required Skills: Understanding of both manual and automation testing Fundamental knowledge of Software Testing process in Scrum Familiarity with common Design Patterns and Code Standards Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with CI process Knowledge of Node.js Knowledge of React.js Knowledge of SQL Knowledge of XML, JSON, SOAP, and REST web services Experience with source control like GitHub Experience with Jira or other ticketing solutions Working knowledge of software testing automation scripts Ability to work collaboratively or independently as required by a given situation Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities and tasks Ability to be flexible and embrace change.
