Job Description As an Enrollment Specialist , you will manage and audit benefit plan enrollments, process changes and terminations, ensure data accuracy, and support compliance with COBRA, HIPAA, and other regulations. You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain precise records across multiple systems. Job Overview Employment type: Indefinite contract Shift: Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM CST Work setup: Remote / Work from home 5-day work week Indefinite contract Remote work 20 vacation days (including 5 convertible to cash) Provided Emapta laptop and peripherals Exposure to clients Diverse, supportive environment Unlimited upskilling via Emapta Academy ( https://bit.ly/EmaptaTrainingCalendar ) Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s in Healthcare Admin, Business Admin, or related field (or equivalent experience) 1–3 years experience in COBRA administration, HIPAA compliance, or group benefits within TPA, carrier, or HR Knowledge of group health and welfare plans (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits) Strong organizational and attention to detail skills Understanding of HIPAA, ERISA, ACA requirements Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and claim systems Plus: Knowledge of TPA enrollment procedures Familiarity with compliance requirements (FMLA, ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA) Experience with EDI files and carrier billing Daily Tasks Process and audit enrollments, changes, and terminations Ensure accurate data entry in claim systems Review eligibility files and reconcile data Communicate with account management for discrepancies Coordinate with operations on data issues Monitor deadlines and ensure legal compliance Maintain documentation and audit trails Generate reports and support audits Handle COBRA notices, elections, and payments Securely handle sensitive information following HIPAA rules About the Client Our client is a BPO company partnering with global firms to deliver customer success, back-office support, data analytics, marketing, and custom functions .
