Responsibilities - Conduct drainage evaluations andstormwater management studies. - Lead construction plan preparationfor flood risk reduction and channel improvement projects. - Useengineering software and tools for design and documentation. -Visit construction sites to monitor progress and perform contractduties. - Provide technical leadership and oversight, ensuringhigh-quality stormwater design and production. - Plan projecttimelines, track progress, and manage milestones effectively. -Proactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingencyplans. - Define project success criteria and communicate themclearly to stakeholders. - Develop best practices and tools forproject execution and management. - Simultaneously manage multipleprojects and clients. - Identify and manage clients to grow thebusiness. - Establish and maintain client relations. - Attendclient meetings and assist with marketing efforts. - Communicateeffectively with team members, office staff, and clients. - Fostertrust and unity within the project team. Qualifications -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - TexasProfessional Engineer (PE) license. - Certified Floodplain Manager(CFM). - Proficiency in engineering software and tools (AutoCAD,Civil 3D, Open Roads, Stormwater Modeling, and GIS). - Provenexperience in stormwater management and infrastructure projects. -Strong technical knowledge of stormwater design principles and bestpractices. - Understanding of relevant regulations, standards, andpermitting processes. - Effective communication and interpersonalskills. - Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. -Municipal stormwater experience in Texas. - Familiarity with TxDOTdrainage preferred. - Experience working independently and in acollaborative team environment. - Excellent written and oralcommunication skills. - Familiarity with drainage systems,floodplain management, TxDOT, and City drainage criteria. -Knowledge of ArcGIS, hydrologic modeling (e.g., HEC-HMS), andhydraulic modeling (e.g., HEC-RAS, Infoworks ICM). #J-18808-Ljbffr
