Click here to learn more about us! **Job Summary**: **Responsibilities**: - Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and review stories, removing any road blocks and providing guidance to junior developers as needed - Deliver clean, concise code that is stable, extensible, and meets acceptance criteria, production requirements/design specifications - Anticipate any potential development errors/issues, taking ownership and accountability for code and story completion - Partner with Product Management on ideation and implementation of new product features and functionality - Collaborate with team members, including quality assurance and product owners to solve complex problems, code stories, etc. - Mentor less experienced developers, growing their skillset into successful full stack engineers through code reviews, pair programming, & knowledge transfer sessions - Provide support to Operations to resolve high priority customer issues - Establish, follow, and implement engineering best practices in a team environment, staying up to date on the latest technical developments and demonstrating innovation in defining and prototyping the use of leading-edge technologies - Identify and promote shared services and components to reduce cost and improve information flows - Utilize organizational process control systems and industry privacy requirements (i.e. FDA quality controls, HIPAA) **Qualifications**: - Deep understanding of the capabilities & limitations of PWA vs. Hybrid vs. Native apps - Experience utilizing Typescript in an AWS environment - Proficiency in web development technologies (React/ Ionic/ JavaScript, REST, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON) - Experience with modern, cloud technologies (containers, container orchestration, NoSQL, auto scaling, micro-services architecture, mobile, etc.) - Ability to remain calm and steadfast when working directly with Support Teams and customers on high priority system issues - Concise, collaborative, and approachable communication style - Innovative and resourceful problem-solver, seeking opportunities for continuous improvement - Ability to nurture, promote, and support a strong DevOps CI/CD culture **Bonus points if you have**: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field - Experience with relational & NoSQL databases and resolving data merge conflicts via code in CouchDB/ NoSQL DBs - Proficient with CouchDB (troubleshooting and writing applicable code) - Experience with testing (unit, integration, regression, and performance) - Proficiency using AWS EC2 Instances - Familiarity with Atlassian products including JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket - TeamCity or other CI/CD experience - OKTA experience - OCR using a mobile device camera - Experience with modern data and analytical platform architectures and use of AI and Machine Learning - Experience using Specflow & Gerkin - Proven track record of completing projects and tasks with supporting metrics - Experience with Mobile apps & PWAs in an AWS environment - Experience developing software with HIPAA, Protected Health Information (PHI) requirements, or other highly regulated industry **Perks & Benefits** ZOLL provides a casual work environment, competitive salaries, and a compensation structure that rewards contribution and hard work.
