You bring to Applaudo the following competencies: 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development with a focus on Python, React and microservices architecture. Expertise in Python development, especially with Django REST Framework or similar frameworks. Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, DynamoDB, and others (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Knowledge of microservices architecture and designing systems that scale effectively. Proven experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and working with API integration. Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments. Strong understanding of performance optimization, scalability, and fault-tolerant systems. Experience with unit/integration testing and writing quality, maintainable code. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues in both front-end and back-end systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Ability to manage time effectively and deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines. Proficiency in English, as the role requires direct communication with US-based clients. You will be accountable for the following responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain both backend services and frontend applications. Build, implement, and scale microservices architectures that support high-performance, high-availability, and highly scalable systems. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define the best approaches and deliver quality software. Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using Python (Django REST Framework) and React. Ensure robust database interactions and integration with MySQL, DynamoDB, and other SQL/NoSQL databases. Create and manage RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. Focus on improving application performance, addressing bottlenecks, and ensuring efficient data flow across systems. Write unit, integration, and system-level tests to ensure code reliability and quality. Participate in code reviews, collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for improvement, and provide technical guidance. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in full-stack development.
