As a member of the Internal Audit department, we want you to support the Bank in realising its purpose and strategic goals through our vision, ‘Internal Audit, Assuring the Future’. As part of the IA Chief Operating Office team, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the audit teams to deliver high quality audits and drive the continuous improvement of the department. **The difference you’ll make.** - Supporting the continuous improvement of the function, in a fast-evolving environment - Facilitating change within the department to transform the way we work, by developing and supporting the end-to-end approach to training in the function, ensuring our auditors have the required knowledge, skills, and competencies to perform their roles - Designing, developing, and delivering an effective and engaging Communications Strategy for the team - Providing efficient reporting to colleagues within Internal Audit as well as key business stakeholders **What you’ll bring.** - Experience of developing and supporting the delivery of effective training solutions with an understanding of current industry best practices - Experience of supporting the People Agenda within an HR or Business function, ideally with experience in producing internal communications **It would also be nice for you to have.** - Financial Services experience in Internal Audit, or similar central function with an awareness of audit processes, or risks and controls - Experience in problem solving, innovation, process improvement and best practice - Organised with strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to influence and maintain strong stakeholder relationships - Degree Qualified in a relevant field like an Internal Audit accreditation (e.g., CIA) or similar professional qualification is desirable **What else you need to know.** This is a permanent role situated in Milton Keynes and is currently Office/Home based.
