Our mission is to build a global movement where people live, travel, work and experience, while forging meaningful connections. **About the role** DemandCo is the operational backbone of Selina overseeing all properties across 20+ countries, managing the opening of new locations, and driving revenue at all levels. We live and breathe strategy and operational excellence, and DemandCo is where the actual execution of bringing Selina properties to life happens. This role will support the COO office, reporting to the Chief of Staff, and working on a team with the Director of Operations. Projects will touch all aspects of DemandCo, from global departments to country teams. **About the responsibilities** **1. Leading build of new operational strategies to be launched across regions** - Support projects that will improve Operating Expense controls such as labor models, capital planning, and implementation of IoT - Support projects to enforce accountability across global and the field - Participate in special projects/initiatives: innovate and implement large-scale quality improvements to processes **2. Strategic work to ensure efficient and successful operational procedures are put into place** - Work with the Chief of Staff and Director of Operations to identify areas of opportunity in the Operations processes, systems and guidelines to lead and implement improvement projects - Work with field operating leaders to deliver action oriented monthly performance reviews - Research, benchmark, and analyze data, making recommendations to deliver the OKRs, collaborating with the finance and data teams - Collaborate with the Global Delivery Team to ensure successful follow-through of newly implemented projects **3. Project Management of key initiatives, to ensure successful coordination, cohesion, and alignment across global departments and regions** - Support office of the COO with project execution, monthly results reporting, and cross-functional initiatives across global DemandCo departments and country teams - Act as a key coordinator of Capital Planning processes including FF&E; and Asset Improvement Processes from the Operations side of the business. This involves collaborating with Regional teams, global Asset Management, and finance teams - Gathering and escalating blockers to ensure field teams have the resources needed to execute - Play a key role to track requests coming in from global teams, to ensure there is a cohesive and manageable funnel of work for the field teams - Lead the Country Performance Results process, gathering data from relevant global teams and leading build of action plans with the field - Collaborate and lead projects with the Regional Strategy & Operations Associates **What you need for the Role** - Experience working in field operations preferred (general managers looking for global experience are encouraged to apply) - Knowledge of financial statements, with the ability to interpret data and highlight abnormalities - High level of organization and self-motivation, entrepreneurial spirit to take ownership and leadership of projects - Strong excel skills, with familiarity and ease with building formulas - Project management skills to effectively work cross-functionally to manage deliverables - Self motivated and autonomous, considering ways to add value to the business beyond delegated tasks - Flexible and quick learner - Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex problems into simpler terms - Fluent in English, Spanish recommended - Enthusiasm and engagement with the Selina brand, with eagerness to stay, live, and work in Selina properties as a digital nomad
