EU Admissions Strategy Consultant (Medical SciencesBackground) This is a full-time contractor position, basedremotely. Strategy Consultants are exemplars of Crimson Education’sphilosophy dedicated to making a difference in students’ lives,helping bridge gaps between present and future goals bypersonalising blueprints that will become the basis of allacademic, extracurricular and personal development. Your task as a Strategy Consultant will primarily be to work closely with studentswho are interested in all countries in Europe (except the UnitedKingdom). This includes admissions knowledge such as students'secondary curriculums (International Baccalaureate, A Levels,National Curriculums, etc). You will work alongside other Crimsontutors, mentors, and consultants. Primary client-facingresponsibilities include driving progress through long-termroadmaps, offering a perspective into European (excluding the UK)higher education, and mentoring through the candidacy building andapplication processes. EU Strategy Consultants are expected to beexperts in all European countries (excluding the UK), but primarilyin the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Switzerland,Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Italy, and Ireland. What successlooks like: Client Service - Provide overarching admissionsstrategies to students by creating individualised roadmaps andconstantly evaluating progress to achieve a student’s primarygoals. - Collaborate with the rest of the students’ Crimson team(Education Coordinators, Academic Tutors, Application Consultants,ECL Mentors) to execute on the student’s roadmap. - Maintain expertknowledge of high school curricula, extracurricular and leadershipchoices, summer program applications, and standardised testplanning to make recommendations regarding admissions strategies. -Utilize in-depth knowledge of institutions of higher learning toguide students and parents towards attainable school goals, workingwith them to create lists of best fit schools of varied competitionto maximize acceptance chances. - Conduct formal consultingsessions with students on a monthly basis (at the minimum),chronicling and sharing with relevant stakeholders notes and actionitems. - Maintain reasonable levels of communication with studentsand families outside of formal sessions through various channels(e.g., email, etc.). Sales and Marketing - Facilitate or leaddevelopment and presentation of marketing materials for seminars orexpositions in local markets. - Collaborate with local Sales teamsin Initial Consultations to facilitate potential client investmentand understanding in Crimson’s products and services. Product and Resource Development - Produce and acquire buy-in from the StrategyConsulting team on (1) internal resources and (2) client-facingmaterials to provide the highest standard of quality serviceworldwide and to engage earnestly in a culture of continuousprofessional development. What skills and experience you’ll need: -Bachelor’s degree from a top European university, such as the Netherlands; special considerations for individuals who haveextensive experience with European Medicine or STEM subjects;advanced degrees will be advantageous. - Passion for coaching youngadults and appreciation of global perspectives. - Superior planningand organisational skills; experience in project management, eventcoordination, product management a plus. - Superior written andoral communication skills. - Resilience when working independentlyunder pressure. - Experience in formal education, coaching,tutoring, and admissions consulting preferred. - Knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus. - A degree in Biomedicine,Biological Sciences or Medical Studies is a plus.
