The combination of our language and content technology - enhanced with state-of-the art Machine Learning - offers the capability to manage the ‘end-to-end’ translation supply chain. **About The Role**: As the Linguistic Services Manager, you will be part of a team that is fully dedicated to an interesting and famous IT client. You will work together with your colleagues in the MLS, VRM and the production teams around the world, to apply, define and implement new and current language quality management processes in order to ensure our deliverables are in-line with the client’s expectations. **Responsibilities**: - Provide linguistic services to the production team, the partners and the customer. - Manage continuous and proactive development, design and implementation of quality management methodologies, special linguistic services (quality reporting and monitoring, vendor training, language asset development & maintenance, in the area of program language quality). - Deliver assigned linguistic services tasks (e.g., enforcement of linguistic guidelines, proactively manage quality across assigned languages). - Assist VRM in recruiting suitable resources through creation and maintenance of relevant linguist profiles. - Provide training to translators and assorted linguistic stakeholders, etc. - Create and proactively maintain internal and vendor-facing documentation as needed related to linguistic quality, style guides, tone of voice, review processes, etc - Use all available tools, portals and data (dashboards, trackers etc) to proactively analyze quality information to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement - Proactively work with external linguists and internal stakeholders as needed to identify real root causes of quality issues (RCAs), and implement effective corrective and preventive actions as needed (CAPAs) - Identify areas for improvement and proactively manage implementing improvements on language technologies for projects/accounts under your responsibility (Quality dashboards, process automations, QA tools, etc) - Proactively monitor MTPE quality; analyze trends and areas for improvement; work with the Production teams to identify and implement any necessary solutions - Manage, mentor, train and develop direct reports under your responsibility - Proactive ownership of the projects/accounts under your responsibility; serving as first point of contact for MLS related tasks, and driving effective collaboration with other teams, stakeholders, and external resources as needed to implement efficient solutions in a timely manner. **Requirements**: - University degree is preferred - Previous experience in an international environment - Linguistic education is a must, or equivalent working experience - Min. 2 years’ work experience with managing the quality for an end client in the Loc industry, in a client-facing role - Perfect command of spoken and written English - Confident using Microsoft Office software: Excel, PowerPoint, Word - Experience working with CAT tools (Trados, Memsource etc) - Strong coordinating and communication skills (providing training, communication with customers, relaying difficult feedback to linguists) - Must be capable of working in fast-paced environment, strong aptitude for multi-tasking & prioritization, and excellent problem-s
