About the Role: Work closely with the client’s team (a leading Investment Bank in the USA) to update and maintain databases and research reports regarding the US Equity Market. We are looking for a highly motivated and methodical individual with strong Excel skills, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. The ideal candidate would preferably have some experience in the equity market and a very good level of English. Job Duties: Work closely with senior research analysts; responsibilities include updating and maintaining databases (mainly Excel spreadsheets). Update periodic research reports. Read and understand industry specifics. Focus on idea generation. Assess viability of expansion projects and/or M&A activities using valuation techniques (DCF analysis) to recommend credit alternatives. Build materials to help the team prepare for meetings with prospective companies: company profiles, personnel profiles, etc. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business administration, or related fields. Advanced degrees and certifications such as CFA and Masters in Finance/MBA are preferred. Skills Required: Strong Excel skills, excellent English proficiency, and a good understanding of finance and equity markets. At least 2 years of experience, with a good grasp of macro-fundamental concepts. Good knowledge of basic econometrics/statistics. Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to add value through idea generation at the sector or financial analysis level. Experience working with Bloomberg, SNL is preferable.
