Job Overview The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Voice over IP (VoIP) and network engineering. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining seamless and secure communication across the organization. Key Responsibilities - VoIP System Management - Design, implement, and maintain high-quality voice communications through VoIP systems. - Diagnose and rectify SIP, RTP, and PBX-related voice faults using technical skills. - Collaborate with clients and partners to deploy new voice solutions effectively. - Document processes and systems to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity. - Network Infrastructure Management - Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. - Monitor and analyze network performance to ensure optimal operation and security. - Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to VoIP technologies using problem-solving skills. - Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection. - Customer Support and Troubleshooting - Manage customer and reseller faults and service requests efficiently. - Provide timely advice and issue resolution for customers using effective communication. - Escalate issues to upstream carriers as needed to ensure prompt resolution. - Collaboration and Documentation - Collaborate with internal teams to drive project progression and success. - Attend sales meetings to gather information and facilitate knowledge transfer. - Develop and maintain documentation for responsibilities, training materials, and workflows to enhance company and client processes. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. - At least 3 years of experience in VoIP and network engineering roles. - Strong understanding of VoIP systems, including SIP, RTP, and PBX. - Proficiency in network protocols, VLANs, QoS, and VPN. - Experience with diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and network scanning tools. - Familiarity with VoIP phones such as Grandstream, Yealink, and Polycom. - Experience with open-source SIP-based PBX systems (e.g., Asterisk, Freeswitch). - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and customer service skills.
