Your Career Setup Employment Type: Indefinite Term Shift: Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM Work Arrangement: Onsite (Bogotá/Medellín) Your Impact and Responsibilities Develop, enhance, implement, and maintain components of Matic’s Compliance Management Program Manage risk-related activities, including due diligence, audits, and RFP responses Oversee contract management processes and documentation Conduct periodic risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions Draft formal written policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance Prepare and deliver accurate compliance reports Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned Requirements What You Bring to the Table Solid understanding of the U.S. legal framework, including Federal and State laws Familiarity with the components of a formal Compliance Management Program Knowledge of risk management practices, particularly risk monitoring and response Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong English proficiency, with fluency in IT and security-related terminology (English Level: C1) Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline 2–5 years of experience in legal or compliance roles within highly regulated industries Background in the financial services or insurance sector, paralegal work, or corporate compliance Knowledge of regulatory compliance principles and best practices Ability to apply organizational and time management strategies effectively Skill in analyzing data and drawing clear, actionable conclusions Skill in conducting legal research and drafting documents Skill in preparing accurate, relevant, and timely compliance reports Bonus Points If You Have: Experience with SOC II Type 2 or similar industry-standard audits Understanding of GLBA, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, UDAAP, and/or FCRA Familiarity with state-specific insurance regulations Hands-on experience with legal operations tools such as IronClad, JIRA, and platforms for contract or matter management Benefits Perks That Matter 5 days work week Weekends off 20 vacation days in total Prepaid medicine Fully-customized Emapta laptop and peripherals Direct exposure to our clients Career growth opportunities Diverse and supportive work environment Prime Office Locations - Bogotá and Medellin Unlimited upskilling through Emapta Academy courses (Want to know more?
