Responsibilities This fully bilingual(English/Spanish) professional will integrate into an existing teamof 5 people. The role is primarily focused on the generation andauthorization of Foreign Exchange trades and related payments,predominantly in Latin American jurisdictions ensuring that alllocal regulations and sanctions are respected. It requiresexcellent communication & collaboration skills, problem solvingskills and flexibility. You should be comfortable with rapid paceof change in order to address all aspects of investigations andeffectively assess and address any scenarios, as and when theyarise and proactively streamline and enhance workflows. - Helpmanage the daily cashflow for US dollars, Euro, and Sterlingpounds. - Help generate all daily reports to ensure figures arecalculated accurately to post on our internal treasury dashboard. -Help manage the daily settlement of FX currency payments in the Latin American (LATAM) and Caribbean region. - Utilize discretionand integrity to determine if currency requirements are met; and ifachieved, to authorize / release payments over secure paymentnetworks. - Help oversee the USD settlement to our LATAM and Caribbean banks, that require dollar funding, from our company topurchase local currency for settlement on a same day or spot basis. - Help manage the daily cashflow for LATAM and Caribbeancurrencies, ensuring trade positions are aligned with our localbank account nostros. Management of the global cash positions forEMEA based accounts (EG Euro, Sterling etc.). - Help ensure thatall FX Confirmations are double checked and sent to the client ontime. - Help establish and maintain lines of communication with thebusiness and with correspondent banking network. - Initiate andconclude pre-settlement investigations during daily activity. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required. - 1-5 years ofexperience within banking, Foreign Exchange, payments operations,or related financial services industry. - Bilingual - Proficient inreading, writing and speaking English and Spanish. - MicrosoftOffice skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) especially in Excelwhere ability to create macros and v-lookups is essential for thegeneration of reports. - Knowledge of global payment sanctions andregulatory requirements particularly in LATAM emerging markets abig plus but not mandatory. - Ability to work accurately in apressurized environment within stringent deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
