As Contracts Manager,you will be responsible for preparing and negotiating softwarelicense and service agreements in support of a global salesorganization and ensuring compliance of legal terms and conditionsby customers. This includes regularly working across internalcorporate functions with sales personnel, technical and productpersonnel, and central corporate functions on contract matters andon drafting and negotiating contracts. Primary responsibilitieswill include: 1. Drafting and negotiating of software licenseagreements, professional services agreements, and contract addendain region; routinely exercising discretion and independentjudgment. 2. Reviewing RFPs, Tenders, RFIs, and RFQs, offeringappropriate alternatives to contract terms and conditions. 3. Reviewing and resolving issues affecting company compliance andensuring satisfaction of legal requirements, appropriatelybalancing Anthology and customer objectives. 4. Advising salesmanagement of contractual rights and obligations and providingclarification of contract terms and conditions. 5. Interpretingcontract policies, operating practices, and performance standardswithin the Contracts team. The Candidate: Requiredskills/qualifications: 1. Fluency in written and spoken English atCEF B2 level or above. 2. 2-5 years of experience in contractmanagement and negotiation or experience that relates to thedrafting and negotiation of agreements. 3. Understanding of thedevelopment, negotiation, and execution of contracts. 4. Ability tothrive in a team environment. 5. Desire to succeed in a customerservice-oriented environment. 6. Highly efficient and organized;ability to handle multiple tasks with ease and professionalism. 7. Ability to be proactive, prioritize, and work under tight deadlinesin a service-oriented and sales-driven environment. 8. Ability towork quickly but be highly detail-oriented. 9. Proven analyticaland written and oral communication skills. Preferredskills/qualifications: 1. 3 years of experience that relates to thedrafting and negotiation of agreements. 2. SaaS experience. 3.Salesforce.com experience. 4. SharePoint experience. 5. Demonstrated negotiation skills. 6. Higher Ed experience. 7. Familiarity with software and hardware corporate revenuerecognition issues and legal concepts regarding software contractsand licensing including, but not limited to, limitations ofliability, indemnification, and warranties.
