Overview As a leader within the Technology Services org (Centers of Excellence/COE), the Manager will lead a technical team who implements our software for energy companies across North America and Latin America. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing and supporting a team delivering excellence and innovation to customers as part of implementing proprietary software solutions to best fit customer needs. They are a leader within the overall Professional Services department and will oversee delivery quality, manage customer expectations, and contribute to growing and evolving how we do business. Applicants should have technical expertise of the software development life cycle, as well as knowledge of or interest in the energy industry. Ideal candidates will be technically and functionally well rounded and able to effectively communicate at all levels within the Quorum organization as well as represent Quorum to our clients. Responsibilities - Lead a team of employees focused on the end-to-end delivery of Technology Services, including design, configuration, deployment, and issue resolution for application installations, upgrades, data conversions, reporting, and/or integration of our business software applications - Successfully run a large project or other scope of work either in a client setting or from a significant technical perspective - Serve as the primary day-to-day Quorum representative to active project clients - Hands-on manage a team of 3-8 resources on distinct projects toward successful completion of project-level goals and high customer satisfaction - Work with clients to obtain business and technical specifications to help develop and implement next-generation software solutions - Work closely with our development center to integrate release software into client environments - Provide guidance, mentoring and support for less experienced consultants or developers - Develop and enhance customer offerings for technical services aligned with industry needs and best practices - And other duties as assigned. Requirements - 5+ years related experience in business consulting and/or software development - Experience in project management and/or management of software development efforts - Experience leading a team of 3-8 members such as managing project schedules, mentoring junior colleagues, managing end-to-end work deliverables, and fostering team collaboration - Strong database skills (SQL) such as writing functions/procedures, converting and managing large sets of data, configuring application features, and troubleshooting issues - Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical skills, desire for continuous learning - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Willing to travel occasionally during the week to customer site (most work with customers is performed remotely from Quorum office or from home) - Fluent in English, both written and verbal - Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal Preferred Skills - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technology, engineering, business, or other analytical discipline - Demonstrated technical prowess including solving complex problems, programming skills (SQL, C++/C#, Java, VB and/or other computer programming languages) - Familiarity/understanding of systems architecture - Experience working with software deployments, Cloud-based solutions and/or Cloud/SaaS project delivery model - Aspiration or work experience in the oil and gas industry - Entrepreneurial skills, including motivation to take on more responsibility - Interest to help grow and develop Client relationships through direct and meaningful interaction - Related work experience is strongly preferred Additional Details - Background Check: The successful candidate will need to successfully complete the following clearances: Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver’s License Verification and Passport/ID validation. - Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
