Ci&T; is seeking a skilled RPG developer to join our modernization team, focusing on transforming legacy IBMi systems into cloud-native architectures. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of RPG III/IV/ILE and RPG Free Format, as well as experience working with DB2 for i, DDS, and CL programming. Responsibilities will include analyzing and documenting existing legacy application architecture, identifying critical dependencies, technical debt, and risks in the existing legacy stack, and serving as the primary liaison between customer RPG developers and CI&T;'s modernization team. You will also contribute to workshops, documentation efforts, and stakeholder communications related to legacy analysis, participating in data migration planning and schema mapping from DB2 for i to modern platforms. Requirements 1. Strong command of DB2 for i, DDS, and CL programming. 2. Experience in translating legacy logic and data structures into formats understandable by the modernization team. 3. Proven ability to collaborate with diverse technical teams and bridge legacy systems with modernization efforts.
