Key responsibilities include refreshing data and documentation for existing clients, interacting with bankers and relationship managers, and updating firm systems and databases with obtained information. The successful candidate will also handle inquiries and ad-hoc requests from internal clients, produce high-quality work independently, and manage workload effectively to prioritize cases. Additionally, they will respond to change, understand regulatory requirements, and support activities related to the refresh of global clients. This role requires strong business acumen, judgment, critical thinking, and time management skills, as well as excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities. Required Skills and Qualifications: - 1 year of experience in Capital Markets and Corporate/Investment Banking, having covered multiple product areas - An undergraduate and/or graduate degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred - English level B2-C1 - 1-3 years of experience KYC/AML - Understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting client onboarding - Basic understanding of the capital markets business and knowledge of end-to-end workflows among the Front, Middle, and Back Office Benefits: ScotiaGBS offers an inclusive, positive work environment and competitive benefits.
