Be part of a fast-moving, lean product development organization, supporting the Lone Wolf family of Applications. Deliver reliable, scalable new automation and tooling features to the Lone Wolf. Work with the Development and Product teams to deliver Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery across all Lone Wolf Cloud based SaaS Products.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Design, implement and manage AWS cloud environments and assets. The incumbent in this position will be responsible for ownership of all AWS environments and all the services we run in these environments:OS (Linux)Webservers (Apache/Nginx)DBs (MySQL, Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, RDS)Caching and CDN useContainers deployment and maintenanceManaging, evaluating, and reporting backups success/failureDesigning, implementing, and testing resilience strategies that meet DR and recovery objectives.Performing all AWS maintenance and upgrades to all environments.Source control tools such as BitBucket and GITImplementing cloud resource management using best practicesAutomation. Adhering to best practice and proven patterns to create and maintain automation for the following areas:Environment provisioningAuto scaling environmentsMonitoring and alerting (Prometheus and Grafana)Expense, utilization / consumptions thresholds and billingCreating operational documentation as required (Confluence articles, Playbooks, etc.)Facilitating transparency and collaboration across IT, DevOps, Software Engineering to support release management / code deployment pipelines or other CI/CD tools. Work with teams to begin transitioning off of our non AWS/Azure clouds (Rackspace, Linode, Heroku) into AWSQUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:5+ years of design, setup, deployment of AWS environments5+ years of building automation within AWSExpert experience with Jenkins and like toolsExpert experience with EC2, ECS and AWS RegionsIntermediate experience with Amazon Guard Duty, EventBridge, System Patch Manager, AWS KMS.Intermediate experience with Docker, AWS Fargate (required), K8s, EKS, and other common container frameworks.Intermediate experience or better with tools such as AWS Cloud Formation (required), Terraform (required) and AnsibleIn-depth understanding of network concepts and security best practices.Intermediate to expert experience required with Route 53 and Application Load Balancer (ALB)Broad understanding of Agile, Lean, or similar development methodologies/experienceAbility to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.Experience working for a high growth SaaS company.Conversational English Language skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
