The Vendor Business Continuity Evaluator will be responsible for assessing and ensuring the business continuity capabilities of third-party vendors of external services. This role involves conducting thorough evaluations, developing strategies to mitigate risks, and ensuring that vendors can maintain operations during disruptions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business continuity planning, risk management, and vendor management. Key Responsibilities: • Vendor Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of vendors’ business continuity plans (BCPs) to ensure they meet organizational standards and regulatory requirements. • Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks associated with vendor operations and assess their impact on business continuity. • Business Impact Analysis (BIA): Assess the BIAs vendor including the potential effects of disruptions on critical services and deliverables including the RTO and RPO time to recovery the information and the time to be out of operation • Plan Development, Testing and Validation: Assess the testing of vendors’ BCPs through simulations and drills to validate their effectiveness and readiness. • Training and Support: Validate the use of guidance and training to vendors employees on business continuity best practices and compliance requirements. • Documentation and Reporting: Validate the maintain detailed records of vendor evaluations, assessments, and testing results; prepare reports for internal stakeholders and management. • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and review vendor performance regarding business continuity, recommending improvements and updates to plans as necessary. • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including procurement, compliance, and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to vendor management and risk mitigation. Main Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in information security, or a related field. • 3 years of experience in business continuity planning, risk management, or vendor management, preferably in technological industry. • Desirable: Certified Third-Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) , Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) • Advanced English language proficiency (written and verbal). • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in business continuity and risk management software/tools. • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to business continuity and vendor management.
