PAs a Services Solution Architect, you will be responsible as the expert for solutioning and leading presales technical / functional support activities to prospective customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will function as a technical resource and mentor less experienced Sales consultants during sales cycle. You need to develop creative and complex solutions for large and complex sales opportunities, deliver outstanding Oracle presentations and lead technical aspect of solutions during sales cycle. The SSAs advises customers about the journey to cloud and adoption and are key to helping Oracle’s customers to maximize their Oracle Cloud (covering both OCI and SaaS), on-premises and hybrid investment, to innovate faster and accelerate their business success. Responsibilities To identify, foster and define Oracle CSS services solutions for specific customer opportunities. Work with the customer and CSS Sales to: Understand customer’s business IT strategic requirements and identify large scale CSS opportunities. Gather and assess customer needs, both business and technical and translates these into CSS service solutions. To articulate detail of all service components, design the appropriate solutions and communicate customers effectively. Drive compelling proposals, presentations, and other customer communications during opportunity pursuits. Lead virtual teams associated with the solution during solution life cycle. Build customer loyalty through achieving a trusted advisor relationship. Collaborate effectively internally and externally to ensure effective service solution design and development. Work with disparate groups including, but not limited to, sales, delivery, technical architect, SMEs, risk management, contracts, commercial, product management to design and deliver end to end solutions for the prospects. Drive service solution costing & pricing associated with specific opportunities and ensure that service solutions proposed are appropriately shaped to meet the commercial and contracting requirement of Oracle. Work proactively to build and leverage an effective and extensive network across Oracle lines of business – be seen, respected and in demand across Oracle as a high value asset and an SME in service solutions. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the IT services competitive marketplace. Navigate Oracle internal tools and processes to effectively participate and enable CSS sales. Work with CSS delivery throughout the sales cycle to ensure a smooth transition from sales to delivery. Transfers knowledge to other participant roles on the deal, account teams, delivery and across the CSS Service Solution Architect community EXPERIENCE: Successful individuals in this role would include most of the following:/ 12+ years of progressive experience in professional IT services organizations, preferably in Solution Architect/ Presales Consulting/ Technical Architect/Service Delivery role. Architecting, implementing and delivering complex service solutions for a range of mission critical IT environments Broad understanding of typical enterprise applications and IT infrastructures including public and on-premises cloud, including but not limited to Oracle technologies. Strong Consulting skills and proven experience as a trusted advisor to drive business value for clients and/or stakeholders. Experience in IT services operations and services delivery management including transformation, migration and solution deployment projects for managed services. Proven ability to construct and deliver compelling presentations. Experience in constructing custom contracting and pricing negotiation for complex service offers.
