We seek an experienced Amazon Marketplace Strategist to lead a team of specialists, develop custom growth strategies, and manage client relationships to drive long-term success for our partners. This is a client-facing role where success is measured by: Client Retention Rate – Strengthening relationships and delivering consistent results. Growth of Partner Accounts – Driving measurable revenue growth. Innovation & Strategic Solutions – Implementing data-driven and experimental tactics. Proactive Client Communication – Ensuring clients are engaged, informed, and supported. Strong Organization & Leadership – Managing tasks, people, and priorities effectively. A successful Marketplace Strategist at BellaVix will: Client & Account Management Be the primary point of contact for assigned partner accounts. Build rapport with clients , making small talk, fostering relationships, and ensuring they feel valued. Communicate confidently and clearly , conveying complex marketplace strategies in an easy-to-understand manner. Ensure proactive, solution-driven communication with clients— we don’t wait for problems to escalate . Regularly educate clients on KPIs, trends, and opportunities for business growth. Identify and present upsell opportunities (e.g., advertising, CTV, social media, marketing). Strategic Growth & Execution Develop tailored, innovative strategies to grow client accounts. Stay on top of marketplace trends, policies, and competitive landscapes to provide strategic insights. Lead A/B testing, optimization, and performance analysis across product listings and advertising. Provide direction to the creative team for A+ Content, storefronts, and digital assets. Manage inventory tracking, demand forecasting, and supply chain considerations . Experiment with new tactics and strategies , even those outside BellaVix’s existing playbook, to deliver results. Delegate effectively and ensure specialists execute daily tasks to world-class standards . Hold team members accountable for meeting core values and delivering top-tier customer experiences . Own mistakes and always do what’s right for the client and BellaVix . Clearly communicate with leadership , providing insights on account health and team performance. Mentor Specialists , helping them develop their skills, leadership mindset, and professional growth . Contribute to internal team discussions and knowledge sharing , keeping BellaVix at the forefront of eCommerce expertise. Lead team check-ins, participate in client calls , and ensure seamless coordination across departments. Professionalism & Work Standards Dress appropriately – Business casual for client calls, more relaxed for internal meetings. Stay organized and manage workloads effectively , prioritizing high-impact activities. Work with discipline in a remote setting , demonstrating strong time management skills. Maintain a growth-oriented mindset , continually learning and implementing best practices. Nice to Have (But Not Required) Experience in PR, Social Media, or Influencer Marketing is a plus but not mandatory . An understanding of how social media or external marketing impacts Amazon/Walmart growth is valuable. A background in brand-building strategies outside of Amazon/Walmart is a bonus but not an expectation. Responsibilities As a Marketplace Strategist , you will lead key initiatives for client success, including: Execute strategies that drive sales, conversion rates, and brand presence . Manage all aspects of Amazon and Walmart marketplace growth . Provide data-driven insights , monitoring traffic, conversion rates, and campaign performance. Client Strategy & Thought Leadership Guide and educate clients on eCommerce trends and Amazon/Walmart best practices. Propose and execute growth initiatives , including advertising, promotions, and marketing tactics. Contribute to company thought leadership by writing blog posts and sharing marketplace insights. Manage a team of Specialists , ensuring high standards and continuous learning. Delegate tasks efficiently , ensuring deliverables are met on time and at a high quality. Hold team members accountable for adhering to company values and maintaining top-tier client experiences . Operational & Process Improvements Build and refine internal processes to improve efficiency and scalability. Experiment with new strategies to enhance client success and agency innovation. Required Qualifications 5+ years of eCommerce experience , with at least 3+ years in marketplace management . Strong experience with Amazon and Walmart Marketplace operations and growth strategies. Proven client management experience , including running strategy meetings and performance reviews. Experience leading a team and delegating responsibilities effectively. Strong written and verbal English skills (C1-C2 proficiency required) . Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop growth strategies . Experience in advertising, marketing, and brand growth strategies . Excellent verbal and written communication skills , particularly in client-facing settings. Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and task management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com).
