Job Description The Collections Manager Americas role involves overseeing and directing the collections operations team to ensure timely and efficient recovery of outstanding debts while maintaining positive client and internal stakeholder relationships. The manager will lead a team of collectors, develop strategies, and analyze data to optimize collections performance, meet target KPIs, and comply with relevant SLAs. This role requires strong collections knowledge and experience, a strategic mindset, team-building skills, and the ability to attract and develop talent to achieve organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure timeliness of cash collections and achievement of KPI and SLA targets through working with collectors on their portfolios, escalating issues, mentoring collectors to improve performance, and identifying opportunities for improvements in processes, people, and systems. - Lead investigations and negotiations with customers or sales teams to resolve issues and concerns escalated by collections and sales teams. - Process bad debt reporting, write-offs, and adjustments. - Review and approve refund pay-outs to clients. - Review and monitor cases/tickets logged or escalated to ensure timely resolution of issues and identify opportunities for improvement. Required Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree (Accounting or Finance related background preferred) or relevant work experience. - Minimum 5 years of experience in a collections management role in a fast-paced international or service center environment. - Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word; SAP 4Hana, Zuora Billing, and Salesforce (a plus). - Fluent in English (C2 level) is required. - Well-organized with excellent problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail. - Ability to attract and develop talent and build effective teams. - Strong stakeholder management skills.
