Lugar: CO - Cali Representante de Adquisición de Talento de Goodyear: SONIA NIETO LI-HR1 **Primary Purpose of the Position**: - Drive for and audit safety, environmental and other regulatory compliances required on plant equipment and systems. - Manage, track and analyze engineering expense and capital budgeting to ensure compliance. - Manage resources to ensure the proper design, installation, modification, and maintainability of new and existing plant equipment, buildings and facilities to ensure the plant is capable of meeting customer requirements. - Manage the necessary engineering and maintenance support to the production organization in order to promote the production of the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost. - Ensure safety, environmental and other regulatory compliances by working with appropriate team members on Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) issues, following the implementation of Mandatory Safety Releases (MSRs), and continually improving the communication across all relevant departments. - Manage multidisciplinary engineering services, equipment selection and procurement, provide administrative services, program coordination, budgeting and control of operating expenditures in support of plant engineering. - Manage cost estimates, financially justify projects, prepare budgets, review designs, and manage resources to ensure proper installation and commissioning of equipment. - Continuously drive solutions/improvements that reduce costs including: labor, parts, cofacilitate contractor management process and periodically audit contractor’s work to ensure that safe work practices and standard operating procedures are followed contractors and operating items. - Facilitate contractor management process and periodically audit contractor’s work to ensure that safe work practices and standard operating procedures are followed. **Education**: BS- Manufacturing or Engineering Desired. Masters level degree **Experience**: - Minimum of five years engineering / maintenance management in an industrial environment. Experience in leading multidisciplinary technical team members to achieve cost effective goals. - Equipment design experience, along with project engineering or project management role is required. **Knowledge**: - Requires the ability to direct cross-functional work groups to achieve operational and facility equipment objectives, goals and timelines. Computerized layout, spreadsheet and database management. Requires excellent communication, business, technical, analytical and planning skills. Ability to understand plant layouts, capital estimating, team member-man computations, tire cost structure, manufacturing equipment processes. Demonstrated leadership coaching/mentoring, negotiating, and relationship building skills. - Experience in problem solving techniques a plus: DMAIC, A3. - Must be able to communicate in English and willing to learn Spanish. Ability to communicate in Spanish a plus. Experience with Plant Optimization a plus.
