**Position Overview** This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in HR while contributing to meaningful work that supports a positive and inclusive team culture. **Key Responsibilities**: **Administrative & Organizational Support** - Maintain accurate employee and contractor records in the HRIS system. - Process and file HR-related documents and digital files, ensuring compliance with organizational standards. - Schedule interviews, meetings, and training sessions. - Assist with onboarding new team members by preparing materials and ensuring a smooth start to their employee journey. - Support payroll-related updates, changes, and record maintenance. **Document & Task Management** - Prepare and manage materials for orientations, proposals, and other HR-related documents. - Assist in developing processes and materials from scratch, contributing to the improvement and growth of the HR function. - Handle repetitive tasks such as data entry, filing, and record updates with high attention to detail and accuracy. **Communication & Coordination** - Respond to basic HR inquiries from team members in a timely and professional manner. - Prepare and distribute HR communications such as memos, updates, and policy notices. **Recruitment Support** **Benefits & Compliance Assistance** - Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment periods. - Help with compliance tracking, communication, and records management to ensure adherence to U.S. employment laws. - Support the preparation of materials for performance reviews and training sessions. **Event & Program Support** - Assist in organizing company events and team recognition programs. - Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures. **Key Attributes for Success**: - **Attention to Detail**: Ensures tasks are completed accurately and consistently, even for repetitive or redundant tasks like filing and record-keeping. - **Proactive & Resourceful**: Anticipates needs, takes initiative, and is comfortable building processes and materials from scratch. - **Organizational Skills**: Manages multiple priorities effectively while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. - **Adaptability**: Thrives in a remote environment and adjusts to shifting priorities with ease. - **Eager to Learn**: Willingness to gain knowledge about U.S. employment practices and contribute to HR operations effectively. - **Team-Oriented**: Supports a collaborative work culture while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude. **Qualifications**: - High school diploma or equivalent required; pursuing or completing a degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. - Previous experience in an administrative role or in HR support is an advantage. - Familiarity with HRIS systems and platforms like Google Suite and Microsoft Office. - Understanding of U.S. employment laws and practices (preferred) or a willingness to learn. - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. **Additional Information** - This position is remote and **requires availability to work Pacific Standard Time.**: - Hourly pay is between $5.00-$7.00 USD, based on experience and qualifications.
