The Senior Email Developer (SED) is responsible for designing, coding, and supporting responsive email designs. The candidate must know HTML, CSS, and media queries. They should be capable of working independently, owning their design and programming tasks, and providing accurate estimates. They will also guide and mentor new hires. Responsibilities include: Developing email templates using HTML and CSS. Proposing solutions and estimating project timelines. Collaborating with design teams, tech leads, and project managers. Ensuring emails follow best practices and standards. Supporting and coaching other email developers. Matching implementation to design specifications. Working under tight deadlines. Creating and updating email templates of varying complexity. Analyzing email testing results to improve solutions. Implementing ADA compliance in emails. Conducting code reviews and maintaining coding standards. Optimizing images, HTML, and CSS for performance. Staying updated with marketing technology trends. Proactively identifying and solving problems related to email campaigns. Utilizing tools like Adobe Creative Suite, MailChimp, and HTML/CSS. Qualifications include: Proficiency in English (B2+ level). At least 3+ years of email-specific development experience. A digital portfolio showcasing dynamic email samples. Familiarity with ad publishers like Salesforce, Marketo, etc. Expertise in pixel-perfect HTML implementation. Knowledge of MS Office and email client compatibility issues. Understanding of ADA compliance, dark mode, media queries, and responsive design. Experience with HTML, CSS, and email testing tools like Litmus. Proficiency with Photoshop and graphic assets manipulation. Ability to work independently, responsibly, and proactively. Experience with IDEs such as Sublime Text or Visual Studio Code. Background in digital development including landing pages and banners. Knowledge of preprocessed CSS (SASS, LESS) and build tools like GULP is a plus.
