This will be done by developing an appropriate level of communication with clients and internal team members to better understand and mitigate any issues the customers may face.Successful candidates will be responsible to:The overall leadership of the Pharmaceuticals UnitEstablish and drive forward the strategic direction of the Business. Develop a plan to enter new strategic growth markets for IMCD Colombia, Peru & EcuadorImplement the vision to make IMCD the leading Pharma Distributor and to become the go-to company for Specialty DistributionDeliver against stretch business growth objectives and financial budgetsEnsure that business plans are put in place to deliver the strategyMaintain an open, entrepreneurial and innovative culture with effective communication and involvement from other members of the IMCD teamBuild and maintain a high performing management team, find ‘best in class’ resources to deliver the strategy in the local country organizationsOversee the management of all Supplier/Principal relationshipsDrive a culture of sales, business development and entrepreneurial spiritNurture and establish a collaborative environment. Ensure that Pharma functions as one teamQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or Sciences related. An additional business degree or Industry Knowledge would be an advantage.Six to eight (6-8) years of work experience is essential with increasing responsibility in a reputed Pharma business. B2B specific in raw materials sales is appreciated.Targeted Skills & CapabilitiesBright and intelligent person, somebody who can deal with concepts and complexity comfortably.
