We are seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist to join our leadership team. In this strategic role, you will be the driving force behind our compliance program, overseeing all KYC, KYB, and AML operations to ensure we meet global regulatory standards. You will act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and auditors, lead risk assessments, and provide expert guidance to our compliance teams. This position is ideal for an experienced and proactive leader with a deep understanding of financial regulatory frameworks and a proven track record of successfully managing and developing compliance programs. What You’ll Do - Serve as a key member of the compliance leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Compliance Officer. - Oversee KYC/KYB and AML operations, ensuring processes meet global regulatory standards and industry best practices. - Act as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, financial service providers, and external auditors during examinations, audits, and reviews. - Conduct advanced risk assessments to identify gaps, propose mitigation strategies, and enhance internal controls. - Review and approve escalated cases related to transaction monitoring, fraud, and suspicious activity; file regulatory reports (OFAC, SARs) as required. - Mentor and guide compliance analysts and specialists, fostering a culture of compliance and operational excellence. - Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Risk, Operations, and Product teams to ensure compliance considerations are embedded into business decisions. - Stay informed on emerging regulatory developments across relevant jurisdictions and proactively adjust policies and procedures. Requierment - Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CAMS, CRCM) strongly preferred. - 5+ years of compliance or related experience in banking, fintech, or financial services, with increasing levels of responsibility. - Deep understanding of global regulatory frameworks (BSA/AML, OFAC/sanctions, money transmitter regulations, and other financial compliance requirements). - Proven ability to lead regulatory examinations and audits successfully. - Strong expertise in transaction monitoring, fraud prevention, and risk management - Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing compliance teams. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. - Strong organizational skills and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
