We are seeking a dedicated Data Visualization Analyst to join our software engineering team and contribute to the development and enhancement of a cloud-based dashboard application powered by a globally distributed IoT system. This position will effectively own the Tableau environment from a content perspective, serve as a technical resource for our data analysts in various functional areas, and work closely with the Data Platform Engineering organization to optimize, secure, and enhance the value of our self-hosted Tableau environment. Roles and Responsibilities Monitor the performance of the Tableau Server environment and recommend optimization opportunities. Participate in the planning and execution of a migration to Tableau Cloud. Diagnose and resolve dashboard performance issues related to live queries, extracts, etc. Design and implement platform integrations including data source connections, observability, etc. Collaborate with data analysts to build visualizations, dashboards, and reports. Collaborate with data analysts and data engineers to optimize live queries into extracts to enhance dashboard performance. Curate Tableau Sites, Spaces, and Collections. Skills and Requirements Advanced proficiency with Tableau Server, Desktop, and Cloud. Advanced proficiency with Tableau Dimensions, Measures, and Calculations. Snowflake/MSSQL (SQL/TSQL, query performance, etc.). Okta/SSO/SAML for Tableau. Monte Carlo/Tableau Dashboard Integration. CI&T is an equal-opportunity employer.
