Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Cash Applications Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and superior work product to our clientele based out of our Medellin office. - Establish client or payor contact and initiate receivables process - Input and allocate checks and ACH payments into company's practice management system - Work with Billing/Collection staff to investigate and resolve any payment application discrepancies - High volume AR/Collection supporting the team with inquiries. - Respond to payment inquiries (internal/external) - Remove obstacles preventing payment - Develop timelines and agreement with client's on when payment will be made - Record contact information, communications and collection efforts in our ERP system - Follow up as necessary - Investigate and resolve issues related to chargebacks, short payments and outstanding invoices Responsibilities include various accounting and administrative projects as assigned by management. Key Responsibilities: Receivables Management: - Initiate receivables process with clients or payors - Input and allocate checks and ACH payments Dispute Resolution: - Investigate and resolve payment application discrepancies - Work with Billing/Collection staff to resolve disputes Client Communication: - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients - Communicate regularly with clients regarding payment status Requirements: Skills and Qualifications: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Minimum 2 years experience in accounting or related field
