Key Responsibilities - Resolve purchase order/pricing request processing issues. - Select contracts/suppliers to fill requisitions according to approved strategies. - Process non-electronic purchase orders. - Provide timely and professional reports, information, and analysis as required. - Assist stakeholders and junior team members with P2P process queries and issues. - Identify and communicate supplier diversity opportunities. - Determine if requested items are available in catalogues and implement predefined actions. - Work with buyers/client groups and suppliers to resolve delivery issues and process claims. - Research and resolve invoice discrepancies & account disbursements. - Maintain Vendor Master Records/Updates/New Vendor Setup. - Collaborate with suppliers and end-users to resolve invoice, damaged/returned goods, and ship date issues. - Develop professional interactions with outside suppliers and a strong partnership with client users. - Establish shipping dates with suppliers, resolve shipping date issues for suppliers/requestors. - Inform customers of modifications from original requests. - Obtain price information from approved suppliers. - Generate POs from approved requisitions. - Route high-value items not on contract to senior buyers for resolution. - Education: Minimum bachelor's degree in Science, Business, or Engineering. - Experience: 1-2 years previous buyer/procurement work experience. - Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written). Portuguese is an asset. - Purchase-to-pay tools knowledge - end-user functionality, ERP/P2P systems SAP/Oracle (an asset). - In-depth understanding of purchase-to-pay processes. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Excellent quantitative, analytical, and communication skills with stakeholders and suppliers. - Effective problem-solving skills. - Adherence to all organizational procurement policies and procedures. - Team player with high motivation, positive attitude, flexibility. - Self-starter with a sense of urgency, able to work well under pressure in a high-velocity environment. - Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
