Set technical direction, raise engineering quality, and ship secure, scalable distributed systems in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities - Own solution architecture and technical roadmap for full‑stack services (Go, Python, React) on AWS. - Design and implement distributed systems for Fortune‑500‑level scale, reliability, and performance. - Productize data: build services, pipelines, and APIs that turn data into customer‑facing capabilities. - Guide hands‑on development, code reviews, testing strategy, and CI/CD practices. - Ensure compliance, security‑by‑design, and auditability for regulated industries. - Collaborate with Product/Data/Infra to translate business goals into technical deliverables. - Mentor engineers and promote best practices and documentation. Required Qualifications - Languages/Frameworks: Golang, Python (NumPy, SciPy), React. - Data/Notebooks: Proficiency with Jupyter/Google Colab for analysis and prototyping. - Cloud: Strong AWS experience (designing, deploying, and operating production workloads). - Architecture: Proven design and development of enterprise distributed systems at scale. - Domain: Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, public sector). - Productization: Track record productizing data and building SaaS products. - Breadth: Comfortable working across Software, Data, and Infrastructure layers. - Communication: Advanced English (spoken and written). - Available to work with teams aligned to Eastern Time (ET). Nice to Have - Experience with observability (logs/metrics/tracing), security standards, and compliance workflows. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration, infrastructure as code, and automated testing. - Background leading technical design reviews and running architecture guilds/chapters.
