In order to continue our growth, we are seeking a Paralegal! As a Paralegal, you will assist attorneys in managing cases by conducting legal research, drafting documents, and maintaining case files. Key Responsibilities - Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to various legal matters. - Assist in drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests. - Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and accessible. - Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel as necessary to obtain information and schedule meetings. - Assist attorneys in preparing for court hearings, trials, and depositions by managing exhibits, witnesses, and trial materials. - Stay updated with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to provide informed support to the legal team. - Perform administrative tasks, such as managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence. - Assist with billing and timekeeping to ensure accurate records of legal services provided. - Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving workflows and processes. Requirements - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field. - Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a corporate or law firm environment. - Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation. - Proficiency in legal research tools, electronic filing systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. - Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interactions with clients and colleagues. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting. - Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. - Familiarity with case management software is a plus.
