About This Role: We're hiring a strategic, technically strong Senior CPA to join one of our U.S. tax & accounting clients in a leadership role. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in complex U.S. tax work, enjoys leading a remote team, and values building long-term client partnerships. You'll handle advanced tax prep and planning, review financial reporting, and support business owners and high-net-worth clients across the U.S. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review complex U.S. tax returns (individual, business, trust, estate, etc. )Ensure tax compliance across federal, state, and local levelsReview and coach junior tax/accounting staffConduct technical sign-offs and tax reviewsDevelop customized tax planning strategies for clientsOversee monthly financial reporting and quality controlCollaborate on financial cleanup and optimization projectsLead internal training and knowledge-sharing initiativesProvide technical insights and advice to clientsMaintain high accuracy, accountability, and data integrity Software/Platforms/Tools: Drake, Lacerte, UltraTax, ProConnect, or any US-based professional tax preparation softwareQuickBooks OnlineXeroGoogle WorkspaceWorkflow management and client portalsCCH, Bloomberg Tax, or similar tax research tools Qualifications: At least 7-10 years of freelancing experienceActive U.S. CPA license (required)2+ years of direct U.S. tax prep and advisory experienceExcellent English communication skills (C1/C2 level)Demonstrated leadership experience managing tax/accounting teamsStrong technical knowledge in U.S. federal and state tax lawProficiency in GAAP-compliant financial reportingExperience advising entrepreneurs, real estate investors, or HNWIsDetail-oriented with strong ethical standardsOpen to future U.S. travel (visa support may be offered) Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM US EST
